    Default LCP Time

    This is my new BUG.
Haven't got to shoot it yet.
Waiting on Wolff springs and a stainless guide rod to arrive.
But dry fire the trigger feels perfect.
It's the new Gen 2 Stainless model -

The new triggers are better. I bought my dad a gen 2 a couple of Christmases ago and the trigger was nice.

I have a gen 1 with over a thousand rounds through it and it ate everything except independence ball ammo. Dont carry it much now but cant part with it.

Hogue makes a GREAT grip for it.

The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

    Nice!

Already have an "old" 1st generation, but one like yours is on my extended want list. Do all the LCPs come with those baseplate pinky finger extensions on the mags now? Mine didn't.

My 2010 version had it and the flat one and the one I got for my dad in 2013 had both also.

I wanted one of those so bad, but their not on the "approved" list for CA. I was going over some info once and noticed a announcement that the "Ruger LC380 has been placed back on the roster", I ordered one from our dealer before I realized "LC380" is not "LCP380". Luckly, I sold it to another member and purchased my Kahr P380, for double the price. The wife is so good to me, course we have the 50/50 rule so it actually cost me quadruple the amount.

Everyone says 380 isn't adequate for carry, but it beats a sharp stick!

Every time I see a kahr .380 I want one but I don't carry a .380. Trying to tell myself there is a reason besides I just want one.

Pretty little guns! Had an early hammer model LC9, but sold it for my PM9. It ate most anything.

Yup, it comes with both base plates and a single mag.
Actually shipped as shown in my pic.
Normally I don't like pinky extensions on a gun.
But this little monster is so tiny that I need the extension for a full two finger grip.
Even with it my pinky dangles free.
Just got a second extended 7 rounder and I'm still just getting a two finger grip.
This thing is flat and tiny

I've got the Hogue hybrid LCP grip too.
But want to shoot it stock and skinny first.
See If I like it that way.

Ordered several boxes of Underwood +P before I got the gun.
The manual is very clear, stating it twice in red, NO +P.
Now I've got the gun in hand I've got to say this gun is so small and light I think Ruger really means it.
No +P for this micro gun.
I'll just run standard pressure flavors Hornady XTP Custom.

Always wanted a derringer or some sort of micro BUG gun.
    Can't really explain why.
But these LCPs have been out for a while and have a good reputation.
So a Gen 2 Stainless for $249 out the door (No tax and free shipping) was just too much for me - LOL!
Now I'm just waiting on the Wolff recoil springs and I'll run this baby through the paces.
I'm targeting next weekend to break the puppy in on boxes of Hornady and Remington JHPs.

    Wish me luck.
I really want this little bugger to work out for me.
