If you are REALLY sure the gun is not shooting Point of Aim and Point of Impact, you could use a site pusher or a soft brass punch and a hammer to move it as needed. (test in a sand bag rest and slow aimed fire. Both hands should shoot the same if you are doing it correctly)

My CM9, MK9 and K9 all shot Point of Aim at 7 yards. My K9 actually shoots high and right at 50m. Like 4 feet high and right. The others don't. Weird.

Take it to a gun range and they should have a pusher. If not, a punch and hammer. I have don this on the range to make micro adjustments to other guns.

any certain size of punch I should look for ?

Actually a flat punch that fits inside the dovetail works good. A round punch biggest that fits without hitting the slide is good. If it don't budge, they can be wicked tight go to steel. You'll just ruin the brass. Sometimes some tape around stuff helps. Be sure to pencil a witness mark so you can see movement.

Yup, on tight sites, the pencil marks really help to see the progress. I use a steel punch, smaller than site, with a small piece of leather protecting the metal. But it can require coordination and practice. At first I superglued a piece of leather to the tip of the steel punch. Now, not so much.

All the talk of punches.... I think you'll find that a SOLID vice... I mean S O L I D vice....will make the job a quick and easy one, regardless of punch. I use a "replacable tip" brass punch from Brownells.... about 3/8 inch x 1/2 inch long tip. A smallish hammer, and the biggest, baddest, heaviest 8 inch cast iron vice that Harbor Freight had... bolted to a very very solid bench.
