That's beautiful wood. If I've studied my S&W secret decoder ring right, 586=blued, 686=stainless.

Dietrich: For a fat girl you sure don't sweat much.
Cue sound of Head slap.

Didn't realize the Colonel knew Latin! LOL
Remember Muggsy. RIP Salty Dog. And the Tman
Oh yeah, I'm multi lingual. Actually that's Fonzy dialect Latin to be precise.
You must be a bit worldly yourself to recognize it.

Aaaaaaaaay!!!!
I rented both today. A 686 6-round with 4" barrel, and the 3" GP100. Both had the same accuracy for me, and once the live ammo started flying I could not tell enough difference between the two to matter. I know, pearls before swine. I haven't shot my 4" GP in a while, but I remember it taming .357 better than either of these.
Tomorrow I'm trying the new Pachmayr grips on the SP101, and the Hogues on the Speed Six. Maybe a new wheelie isn't where I'm headed after all...
Wheelies are purdy. I can always rationalize getting another.
