    Default CW9 Carbon Fiber Pistol

This is a surprise to me. It weighs about 15.8 ounces without a magazine. Beyond cosmetics, I'm not sure what it brings to the table.

It's not carbon fiber, just bling. Likely just hydro dipped. I know a local guy that can put any kind of print on a firearm. He does some for the ladies that look like Vera Bradley purses. It's really amazing. To see some cool stuff, just Google up hydro dipped firearms.

It actually states on the Kahr site that its a carbon fiber "print" so likely definitely hydrodip

Looks different, but why would Kahr offer such a thing? It's just a film and I don't like films that can wear through. Pointless, in my opinion. Just my opinion. Others may disagree.

They're just following the hipster trend of prettying the lineup - lookit the gold tone finishes & other colors that have popped up in the past couple of years.

I normally just shoot behind my house or at an outdoor range, but I went to an upscale indoor gun range the other day that I had heard a lot about. If you had seen most of the clientele they attract on a weekend, you would understand why they are making them with gold slides and hydro-dipped with fake carbon fiber print. Heaven help us!

I agree, I work for LGS and usually get crazy questions or requests several times a day. Don't understand why people want colored guns! I guess i'm just getting old.
