No matter how you look at it he has had a great life. He has earned my respect and admiration. He will always be a hero in my eyes!

My opinion of Glen also changed after he sold his soul to Bubba Clinton for another rocket ride, at huge cost to the public. He also went along with the huge lie that Kennedy fabricated, (that Glen was injured and couldn't fly again), to keep his feet on the ground and leave the astronaut corps and enter politics... also at great public expense.

He went from hero to zero in my book at the impeachment vote. That he served his country is great. That he then betrayed his oath is not!
