Read up on your P380 and the ammo it likes, a lot of people complain about Fiocchi not working in their P380. Another thing I found about my P380 is its very problematic when it gets dirty, seems to give me problems after shooting a few boxes of ammo. I'll clean it and be good to go again for a few hundred rounds.

I also use a synthetic grease instead of oil, seems to stay in place better and provide better lubrication. I use the lube chart, but instead of oil, I use a product called superlube. Give it a try and see if that helps.

Don't give up on your little guy, once you get it going its a keeper.

Is there a particular ammo that is guaranteed to work in a well-functioning P380?

I read on here that the problem with Fiochhi is the extractor rim is thicker and the angle a bit different from most of the rest of the brass around. Someone posted a cure involving taking a few thousandths off of the in that actuates the extractor claw. I have run Remmington 95 gr round nose, Winchester white box, and PMC bronze in 2 CW380s with no problems.
