Picking up my first handgun...
...a Kahr CM9 this Friday for personal defence and eventually concealed carry (re; once I take the exam). I really like everything about it.
Besides reading the state laws, manual, break-in guide, and lube guide, is there anything else I should keep in mind being both a new pistol and Kahr owner?

A little practice and I think you will really like the trigger and sights. Recoil pin becomes easier to push out after multiple removals.

Read and preform the prep listed in the stickies above. It will make the break in go a lot smoother for you.
