Default 11 degree counter bore on a CM barrel

I see C&S offer a Kahr package with a 11 degree counter bore on CM/PM models. does anyone have experience with this mod? did you see any improvement in before/after performance?

11 degree crown....I think it is just a matter of looks...except to the bench rest crowd.
The angle of the crown is really not that important, but it must be done centered and square to the bore so that the gas escapes equally all around the base of the bullet at the exact same time.

I think you'll find the overall mechanical accuracy of the Kahr will not show appreciable improvement with any sort of custom crown work, assuming the factory crown is well executed. This is easy to check under magnification.

    Put another way...

Freebore, crown, chamber, rifling type, striker springs... will not make the Kahr pistols capable of knocking the booger of a gnats nose at 50 yards. Just aint gonna happen.
