    Default Kahr CW9 Slide-CM9 Frame

I know a lot of people have cut a CW9 frame to fit CM9 magazines. I've cut my CT9 frame to take CW9 magazines.

My question though is, without cutting, will a CW9 slide fit on a CM9 frame so that the CW9 recoil spring will not be exposed? Is the CM9 dust cover long enough? Also same questions in regards to a CT9 slide on a CW9 frame that hasn't been cut. Anybody who has both and willing to take pictures would be greatly appreciated.

I have both and actually tried to do what you suggested and the slide got stuck and I almost panicked. I don't think there's enough compatibility in parts to do this.

Interesting, I would think all the parts are compatible since the biggest difference is between the length of the grip and dust cover. Oh well, I was in no way wanting to put any innocent pistols at risk. Glad you didn't do any damage to your guns.

The barrels are different and won't lock up with the slides.

I posted lots of pictures of PM9 and P9 and K9 barrels:

There are pictures and a discussion of the frames and slide, too.
