I'm not going to worry with the danged formatting from this table.
Those numbers for the first 2 loads make 10mm look wimpy, particularly that 225 gr DPX. That would settle the handgun caliber debate. Wonder what those foot pounds of energy come out to?
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

BBTI includes energy charts, too. http://ballisticsbytheinch.com/45colt.html

I think most importantly I need to just make damn sure I got enough powder to get them bullets all the way out the end.

First handgun I owned that I'll need to use my rifle rods to clean. Kind of cool.

I'd like one of those to use as a cane (am gettin' there pretty quick), since OC is now legal here in the Lone Star State.
Would just have to find a rubber tip that could slip over the front sight and pop off easily for social work, if necessary.

It's just the right size, if I got a second one I could use them like ski poles sitting in my chair.

Maybe not real practical, but she sure is sweet and the action feels really good, good trigger, very positive notches cocking the hammer.

    Feels good.

I'm a thumb buster anyhow, if it has a hammer, I pull it, not much DA revolver shooting for me.

You gonna let that lil' sweetie pie of yours shoot it as soon as she is taller than the gun?

I've been wanting a 3" Kimber K6S for a while. I had the dough (not really, but I'll make it back) and prices were in the low 700s, so I went for it.

I've been on the fence about it's looks, with that squared off design, but when you see it in person it's much sexier than in pictures. The texture is soft and snag-free. The trigger is very similar to a Kahr, just heavier. Not sure I want to shoot it and get it all dirty.

It's only a skosh larger than a J-frame and feels lighter than a K-frame. I think I'm gonna like it.

    This is it with a 3" Model 63 (J-frame .22LR):

Congrats. I always have thought 3" is the minimum for a .357 magnum load. My favorite is 586-No Dash 4" that has a sweet action, but it's hard to conceal it well.
