Default Use any, or most any ammo

This is a good video on an easy mod to make your Kahr 380 shoot any ammo. I would think that it would work on any Kahr that is ammo picky. I know it would add a few dollars to the cost of the gun if Kahr did it in production, but it seems like the thing to do.

    Thank you for sharing!

Can anyone else comment on this extractor modification?

I had to do something like that with my Mag-na-ported P40, but his video shows what to specifically do... could work with all of the Kahrs.

I'm going to do this to my CW40, it's had issues feeding Fiocchi in exactly the manner that he illustrates. I agree with this fella, the gun should feed any ammo put in the magazine.

That's a pretty good video. I did find myself wishing he would have shown the pistol firing post op.
His "fix" reminds me somewhat of how 1911 extractor tips are tuned:

Between this and tigman250's solution, folks should find some success in getting a balky CW380 or P380 to work as intended.

The problem with this post is it is making me want a cw380 just for grins and truth be known I've spent enough already this year.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

My son and I did this mod and Tigman250's to a pair of cw380's and you can ride the slide closed with both of them, they have feed, fired and ejected everything we have tried ... the only ammo that gives any kind of problem is the Tula steel case ... sometimes it won't fully close using the sling shot method (which is all I use) but with a little help will go ahead and close ... won't miss a lick with rest of rounds ... The cw380's have worked flawless with these mods.
