Indiana is silent on the issue of concealed vs open carry as I feel it should be . I would hate to be going around checking to make sure I'm concealed carrying at all times. But, I'm glad a national standard (not abolition) of carry is being pursued

I now officially have ZERO, None, Nada confidence in the Senate or the House. They will not let Trump Succeed as he is ruining their little Monopoly game.

    I'm feeling the same way.
    Both parties are corrupt.
President Trump is getting resistance from his own party.
Career Politicians must be removed from office.
IMHO there needs to be a house cleaning within both parties.
Lots of Republicans are bought and paid for.
    The Reckoning needs to continue...

They need to get rid of political dinosaurs. People like Schumer, Reid, Pelosi, Warren, McCain, Feinstein, Reid, Hatch etc. These people aren't even members of our planet anymore. They sleep during meetings, just like to hear themselves babble, and waste taxpayers money wanting investigations, and committees, and special prosecutors for everything. TERM LIMITS FOR DINOSAURS.

    From NRA:
Fairfax, Va.—The National Rifle Association applauded the United States House of Representatives on Wednesday for passing the most far-reaching expansion of self-defense rights in modern American history. The Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017 passed with bipartisan support in a 231-198 vote.

    Beware.
There's a poison pill in that bill.
    Enhanced/expanded NCIS checks.

So what's likely to happen is that the House Senate conference tosses out the carry part, keeping the NCIS expansion.
Back to the House where those who voted for it will be loathe to vote against that which they formerly supported.
