Default Does anyone make a Sig .357 barrel for the CM40?

I have interest in the Sig .357 cartridge and was wondering does anyone make an aftermarket .357 barrel for the CM40?

That would be an awesome option, anyone else every have interest in this cartridge going into a Kahr?

I have a friend that swears by the .357 Sig, but it's a niche market, and Kahr owns a small share of the regular pistol market.
So, small market, niche round, not likely.

    Thumbs up

That would be cool though. Maybe for a P40 or K40... I'd consider it.

It would be no worse than shooting my 3" SP101 in 357 Mag in terms of noise and flash, benefit is 357 Sig has less felt recoil than 40 S&W.

This thread made me look up comparable load velocities for 40 SW vs 357 SIG at ballisticsbytheinch. For 3" barrels they have Corbon 135 gr 40 SW running 1212 fps. In 357 SIG, Corbon 125 grain running 1326 fps.

Based on this I think they are pretty comparable, and I would venture that other brands would have similar close comparisons. So if a 357 SIG barrel isn't available, a person could chose a close load without too much trouble.

Personally I get "wow" when I look at my soon to be tested, recently acquired, PM40

I love my PM9's and PM40 but the P229 Sig is IMO the perfect .357 Sig platform.
