^^^ I'm a big fan of the Bawanna cool factor so I'd lean towards the Gerber. That Mora just doesn't do it for me. But I guess, for your purpose, cool would be luxury vs. function. But if you are looking for any other ideas, I've always thought these were cool and might suit your needs. https://www.crkt.com/obake.html

I met this guy 20 years ago at the International Knife show in Orlando

Mine is in SS, but the MSS System is what really impressed me.
He a mountain main outside of Stroudsburg PA.
VERY High quality product for what I consider a fair price.

Oh yeah! I have had one of his 3.5" Pesh-Kabz for about 18 years now...bought it at Plaza Cutlery in Costa Mesa, CA. (great shop).
My wife liked it enough she bought a small, double edge, Kwaito with an Amboyna burl handle from him at a show in Las Vegas.
It's beautiful little knife that she keeps stashed away.
    Here's my Pesh-Kabz:

I don't know if they still do, but Boker made some very good quality versions of Mr. Nealy's Kinzhal and Aikuchi complete with the MCS System.

Which reminds me, the neckers come with a rare earth magnet built into the sheath. I made the mistake of putting the Pesh-Kabz into my back pocket along with my wallet...darn thing wiped a couple of credit cards.

    Regards,
    Greg

FWIW, I also like Pat Cawford's neck knives, especially the drop point http://www.crawfordknives.com/DROP%20POINT.htm

His knives weren't nearly as dear back in the day...fame and fortune I guess.

FWIW, I checked and it seems the Boker versions has been discontinued, but you can find them on some auction sites.
