Thread: CM9 sights

    Default CM9 sights

I decided to try my CM9 at 20 yards today and was surprised at how accurate it is. The other thing I found out is that I really don't like the single dot rear sight with the curving in ears.

Anyone have a favorite replacement for factory sights?

When I had my CM9, I put a Trijicon front sight on it and removed the paint from the factory rear. I liked that combo quite a bit.

If you want to give that a try with the sights you have now, I used Acetone to remove the paint on the rear sight.

Otherwise, I have full Trijicons on my CW45 and Cw9:

I bit the bullet and had a dovetail milled in the front of the slide by my LGS so I could use trittium fiber optic sights; grn. in front and yel. in back. best choice I've made in a long time. and I'd do it again if I get another CM9!
