Posted these in the other thread:

Jeremiah Johnson is one of my favorite western films. Redford put in a great acting performance - pretending that he actually liked & used guns as tools.
    Agreed on Lonesome Dove.
The Shootist - that should've been an Oscar-winner for the Duke (I didn't care that much about true Grit).
The Searchers - another great one, but sorry - West Texas doesn't look like Monument Valley.
    How the West Was Won.
    Never have seen Monte Walsh.
    Tombstone wasn't bad for a 1990s film.
    The Sacketts.
    Quigley
North To Alaska (for a humorous film).

And it is my pleasure to add...

    "She Wore a Yellow Ribbon".

“You tell em I’m a comin and hell’s comin with me!” Love Tombstone! Quick and the Dead, another good Hackman western. What about “Blazing Saddles”? Haha on that one!
Remember Muggsy. RIP Salty Dog. And the Tman

Man from Snowy River is one of my favorites. I'd forgotten Dances With Wolves too. All great movies.
In Memory of Paul "Dietrich" Stines.
Dad: Say something nice to your cousin Shirley
Dietrich: For a fat girl you sure don't sweat much.
    Cue sound of Head slap.

    RIP Muggsy & TMan

I really liked Burt Lancaster in "Valdez Is Coming"
For some reason, two Brando movies I think worth watching just popped into my head: "The Appaloosa" and "Missouri Breaks"

That notch in the rail is supposed to be there

"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."

For comedy, Going South. Jack Nickolsen, Mary Stemburgen.
Steve McQueen did a few good ones but I can't think of any names.
