    RumbleMonkey,

    I originally thought your slide stop lever was biting into your thumb with every shot. Then, I did a little Wiki-foo, and learned what a MCP is, and think that gb6491 is on the right track. Let us know how it works out, please.

    Just following up, this frame mod did work, ran 150 rounds thru without any blood loss! Smoothing it out really helps! My groups were better too, shot many different calibers, .22 shorts, 22LR, 22 mag, 9mm, 10mm, 357mag, and 44 mag. Feeling better about the .40 now, but looking at a .380 maybe. Too bad one frame would not allow you to switch between 10, 9 and 380!
