    Default Streamlight TLR6 on a CW45

Anyone try to fit one? Have been searching for something to say why streamlight doesn't offer it on the .45. Figure if it is just a simple clearance issue then some sanding or dremel work could get it to fit.

    Welcome to the forums

As to the TLR6, first let me say that I've not tried or handled one on any handgun, so the rest is speculation (for the most part).
From photos I've seen of the TLR6, it might be possible that the top of the adapter could be modified to fit the large contour of the 45's dust cover.
However, the 45 trigger guard is wider than that of the 9 or 40. I found a photo showing this area of the adapter and it looks like it would be a chore to modify.

FWIW, this photo is from a listing by Ebay member houstond2012. The listing has a "buy it now" price (including shipping) of $16.80 for a TLR6 Kahr adapter. If I was dead set on a TLR6 for my CW45, I'd probably grab that to see if it could be modified to fit before plunking down the moolla for a complete unit.

    Regards,
    Greg

I guess that is just for the shroud? Cheap enough to mess with.

So got the shroud and don't know why it is not offered on the 45. Shroud fits good. A little snug on the trigger guard but some light sanding and it would be a good fit.
