Default CW380 Rear frame rail BROKE!!!

Got my CW380 last week and spent a day at the range. I put 150 rounds of Winchester whitebox through it and it performed flawlessly. Not a single hiccup. I brought it home, cleaned it and went back to the range several days later. After about 50 more rounds I noticed it was shooting WAY off target. I went to change magazines and noticed a sharp edge on the left rear frame rail. Yep. Broken. Less than 200 rounds through this guy and it's busted. I emailed Kahr and still waiting on response. This gun was manufactured in Oct. of 2017. What should I do from here???

Simple. Do what Kahr says. If you don't hear from them in a few days, give 'em a call.

FWIW, I'd insist on them sending you a pre-paid shipping label if they don't offer it.

Wow, that surprises me. I would believe it right away if you had said LCP but a Kahr?? Glad you caught it early, sorry for your inconvenience, I know it sucks. Let us know how it turns out.

Thanks all for your input. One other thing. Have any of you ever seen this "left rear" frame rail break?? And yes King Rat, it sucks... brand new gun busted. and I have to wait til Monday to get a response from Kahr. If they have to replace the frame that means an new serial number, which means shipping to FFL, and transfer fees, etc...???

First, that really sucks. Second, I have a buddy that had to have a gun completely replaced once. While it was a Diamondback, I believe he will have the answers to your questions about FFL, etc.

With gun being so new, I would expect Kahr to cover all fees, if they find that the gun just broke on its own.

I'm having trouble seeing anything broken on the left rear frame rail (there is only about 2/3 of it visible in your photo).
Could you be a bit more specific as to where the damage is?
    Regards,
    Greg

Looks like the plastic part of the rsil may have broken off but its hard to tell.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

I missed the photo link but now that I see it, I don't see a broken rail either.

I've never heard of that happening on a Kahr ever.

Greg, hopefully i'm explaining correctly. I guess its inside the frame rail. The two small metal pieces at the end of the frame are intact. It's the long metal piece along left side of frame that has broken.
