FTF problems with using extended magazines in a CW40.

I am having trouble with FTF issues using extended magazines in a CW40. The factory 6 round magazines work flawlessly. However, when I use 7 or 8 round extended factory magazines, there is a FTF on every 2, 3, or 4th round.
I called the factory and they advised me not to grip the extended magazine so tightly when shooting as it has a tendency to push the magazine out of kilter causing FTF issues. Not real practical in a real life fire fight. Has anyone had this issue, and if so, were you able to correct it? Also, has anyone had this problem with the KP or K40 models? I don't seem to have this issue with my other Kahr firearms.

My MK40 Elite runs fine with flush and extended OEM mags.
I do use a two finger grip even with the extended mags though...
