    Default Kahr PM45 Ammo Issues?

Experiencing misfires with my PM45. I have had it a number of years but just started shooting it. It probably has had a couple hundred rounds shot through it. I had 4 misfires out of a box of 50 Winchester 230gr FMJ. The primers on the misfires were noticeably shallower than the rounds that fired.

Any suggestion as where start. Pistol or ammo?

I'd start with thoroughly cleaning out the striker channel. Having it for a number of years it might have had junk in there that gummed up the works over the years.

Some early production guns were found to have machining debri left behind which didn't help either.

    First, listen to Bawanna.
Second, you've owned the best subcompact 45 made for a number of years and only have a couple hundred through it.
WHY? Go blast some rounds, it's not even broke in!

Try another brand / box of ammo. You might have a bad box.

Is the gun going completely into full battery? A buddy had one with a very tight chamber and experienced somewhat the same issue as you are experiencing.
