Ahhh, I don't know about that. There's a lot to be said for getting it, omg, right the first time.

    Amateurs!

My son's ex-MIL is on her 8th or 9th husband recently. Not really sure if the count is that accurate, but the "lady" is quite well off after inheriting the estates of two of the gents who passed away (naturally.... we hope).

It is in my case............the wifey and I met in 2000, got married in 07, and just celebrated our 11th anniversary on the 19th. Makes you wonder why you ever picked the first one............................................... ..............

I got 33 years on the first one, don't think there's time for a second.

Oh, I dunno - my middle brother's 1st wife ran off after 37 years of marriage with him. Don't know why it lasted that long. He's been hitched 16 years with #2.
Oldest brother will celebrate his 60th anniversary later this year.

Am heading for the 51st myself, so it looks like this one might stick.

Yeah. Was married and divorced three times before I hooked up with current. I was pushing 44 by then and she'd never been married just turned 26. A lot of family and other folk just here we go again rolled their eyes but we actually had solid lock on it. Thirty one and a half years at this point and still going strong. And two of my exes are still very good friends, with both of us. Sometimes the sun even shines on way late to grow up fools like me.

Forgive me. I am new at this. If I am hearing you right, Smiley and I need to split up so we can be friends again?

P.S. is the second one always 26? That wouldn’t suck. (Double)

Well, it worked well for me for two out of three.

No, the second was younger. But then so was I at the time. I'm good with an 18 year age difference. A twenty five year delta would probably be my practical limit these days.
