Default Old style GA*** MK9 Wood Grips needed

I'm looking for another set of checkered wood grips for a new/old GA**** MK9 I just inherited. Anybody have a set? Thanks

Hogue does not make a set that fits GA series MK9s (?). But I saw someone on here once advertising a set made by someone else for sale. I assume they were one-offs?

^^^ I found the thread but my memory was a little fuzzy. It doesn’t specifically say which series the grips fit. It might be worth asking though since they are non-Kahr?

I've been pondering whittling out a couple sets. If you don't find some before then I'll post em when I get them done.

Hey Bawanna; If you will make them I will buy them! You made my Son and I a couple of 1911 grips out of some of the last Osage Orange (hedge) bow wood that I had left. I wood prefer checkered. Let me know, if, when, how much, and THANK YOU for even thinking about it.

I still have a bit of that Osage Orange on hand too. Actually got another piece some place too now that I ponder it some.

You looking for dark like walnut or coco bolo or something light?

Not real dark...but not too blonde. Somewhere in the middle. Will leave that up to your expert opinion. Thanks for your consideration.
