Purchased one when they first came out, absolutely no problems with it. Well worth the money.

Thousands of rounds with my Lakeline striker - no issues at all. That's why it is in there. Never broke a Kahr striker, but the build quality of the Lakeline striker is much beefier.
Notice the area where the striker pin is held to the striker body itself. The difference is obvious...

Al is also a respected member here and an honest man of his word. No gamble involved.
Look over their website and see the reason and purpose behind Lakeline. It's honorable.

I didn't have any issues with the original strikers, but I put one in my CW & CT 380. Alot of rounds through both without any problems. My thought was to possibly eliminate any weak links. It certainly is stonger in the area that the OM striker fails.
When you guys say thousands of rounds how many rounds exactly have you put through your cw380 s or other kahr 380s

Coming up on 4000 rounds sum total through my 3 Kahr 380s.
I'll replace the recoil springs on one of my CW380s when it gets to 2500 rounds - just because. No signs of problems at all.
I just want to prevent any frame damage or malfunctions, as I carry this one all the time. At a cost of $11 per pair of springs, I just consider this preventative maintenance.
I stopped counting at 4700 through my P380, an RAxxxx, the first production run with the teething problems. Broke a striker after a couple thousand rounds. Wasn't reliable until 560 rounds and a return trip to the mothership. It's still very tight and 100% reliable.
