    Default It's Official!!!

I finally qualify for the exclusive "triple dipper" club! I've got two retirements under my belt and drawing social security!

Thing I can't figure out is why I don't qualify for any type of state or federal aid and why I had to work for so many years to end up with almost nothing. Now they want to give me another watch....go figure.

You didn't use enough food stamps and unemployment. When you stop working, the loot stops. The gimme, gimme gimme folks get it forever.

I'm proud and foolish in that I've never once drawn an unemployment check, no food stamps. Actually don't remember ever not working except for the year I was sorting things out after the chair came along and that year was no picnic neither.

Chiefs retiring and they ponied up enough officer donations to get him his duty gun and a AK Pistol kind of thing he wanted.
One of the guys told me when I retire (not likely) they'll probably get me a Daisy Red Ryder, not a bad thing really, always wanted one.

Congrats for being retired and this side of the dirt.

    Maybe I'll get there someday...

And yes, I am bragging about being old enough for AARP and still too young for social security. I mean, what else do I got?

    Enjoy the "third retirement"!
I was once asked if I was "a paranoid for carrying my Kahr".
    "Nope" I said, "just prepared".
" prepared for what" he asked?
    "more stuff than you are"

I retired in '08 but too young for SS. Still have a few years until I can draw that. I do draw to checks every month, though. My military retirement and my disability pay. Of course, my disability pay is deducted from my retirement pay but it is two different amounts put into the bank account.

Whut?? You reminds me of my slacker wife. She's 57....decided, without asking, to be shed of the work force late 2015. She plus all living expenses paid draws monthly checks, too....from me. Who, like Bobshouse, is pulling from three well earned retirements.

Yeah. It's payback fer me getting the hot 26 y/o chick when I was 44. But that's okay 'cause she's now gonna be stuck with elder care. He/she who gets the last laugh wins...
