I am new to Kahr. I purchased my K9 new, week before last, and I'ver shot it two consecutive Saturdays, and cleaned it twice.

I lube my K9 pretty much like I lube my (.357 Sig-converted) M11-A1, just like others mention above: TW25B synthetic grease on the parts that slide, and oil on rotating parts. The argument for grease on the M11-A1 primarily stems from the Sig's SS upper and aluminum alloy lower, I think. Still, I figure even though the K9 is SS on SS, this approach can't hurt.

Go to the Walmart or the closest auto parts store and grab the cheapest can or tube of grease you see. Congratulations, you have just obtained a lifetime supply of slide rail grease. Apply with a Q-tip or toothpick. Also works great if you have a Garand or M1a.
