Light gun grease on rails?

TW25b is fine. I use Lubriplate SFL-0. It's cheaper and non-toxic, in case you get hungry.

Question: what is lite grease compared to other types of grease? Does one get a larger quantity by weight?

After watching several videos from Weapon Shield, I started to use it on all my guns AR15, etc. Yesterday it was on the CM9 and had zero problems. For me after watching the videos and the way they were tested against most other popular gun oils I'm convinced I don't need to use grease.

Each to his own.......................some go by the saying, if it rolls, oil it, if it slides, grease it. It's always worked well for me.

The rule I learned when I worked at SIG was this...

"If it turns -- oil it."

"If it slides -- grease it."

That has worked well for me on my SIGs and Kahrs, and other makes too.

I have found that Remoil works great. You dont have to worry about it getting sticky or solidifying.

I just oiled everything for years, and had no issues. Recently started greasing the sliding parts, again with no issues. With regular maintenance I don't feel it makes much of a difference, but if someone were to go thousands of rounds between teardowns grease might be the way to go.

Exactly this ^ long as you oil or grease once in a while it don't matter much what you use.
