Default Razor sharp burr CM9 slide stop

I just picked up my first Kahr pistol, a new CM9, got it home, installed a set of Talon grips I had waiting for it. I read through the manual completely as I always do, even after owning and using guns for over 50 years, started to take the pistol down for cleaning and relubing prior to firing it when I noticed something all over the slide...blood...mine !! There was a razor sharp burr on the end of the slide stop that sliced open the tip of my middle finger. After cleaning off the blood and bandaging my finger I inspected the gun to see what happened. I did not see the burr during initial inspection of the gun but my middle finger certainly found it. I drove out the slide stop and filed the burr down and then used a piece of crocus cloth on a flat surface to smooth it down where it wouldn't cause any more harm....note to self...CLOSELY INSPECT NEW FIREARMS !!! I sent Kahr a couple of pix of it but told dont send a new one, as I got this one serviceable, and safe, but might warrant a little closer inspection, although I didn't initially see it either. I haven't gotten a response.
