    Default CW45 loose slide ??

I recently acquired a used CW45. I like the way the gun feels in the hand. I haven't had a chance to get out and shoot it yet. I noticed that the slide to frame fit is somewhat loose. I can shake the gun up and down and I can actually here it. I can also see some play when I squeeze the frame and slide from the top and bottom. I was just wondering if this is normal. I bought a brand new CM9 and it seems pretty tight. Thanks in advance for any info about this.

Insert a loaded mag and it should tighten up.

Excellent recommendation Greg. I'd plumb forgot about that issue. Since it's used it could very well have that issue.

Should be noted, if it is the case Kahr will take care of that. Also worth noting that when you had that issue the gun still ran perfectly and I recall you were reluctant to send it in for fear it wouldn't be as good when it came back. It was a happy ending for you and I'm sure it will also be for Glock5857 if its the same.

That is true. I was really concerned it wouldn't be as accurate. Thank you again for running interference to see that I got the same slide and barrel back.
    It was a happy ending

    I CW45 is a real shooter too.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.
