If it's that bad (or simply bothers you that much) I'd probably send it to Robar and have them redo it in their Roguard or maybe Blackend Stainless.

I inquired about having my shiny Kahrs DLC finished after selling my pm45 DLC. I contacted the DLC parent company local facility but was told they do firearms at the east coast plant and go through an authorized dealer or markup man. Contacted that plant and they wanted me to send the parts to Washington State, pay the markup man to have them ship the parts to the plant in New Jersey, and return them the same way.
My Kahrs are not DLC coated, what a hassle to have it done.
Wondering who the mark up man in Washington State might be. Seems strange.

I honestly have no idea what finish it has. As long as it works and I don't need to worry about it rusting or anything (I clean it with Ballistol) I'm happy with it.
That's all that matters. If your happy, I'm happy.

A badge of honor. More wear=more use. More use=better shooter.
