    Default New pm9 barrel question

Is this typical wear after 300 rounds on a new pm9. The corners of the top of the barrel hood seem to be shaving. Emailed kahr 3 times since last Thursday and haven’t received response

That's a common wear area. I'd keep shooting and watch that area. If it continues to get worse or the gun fails to go into battery by a slight amount then it might need attention.

I had one that peened in that area and had to be replaced on a K40. Yours at least what I can see in the picture doesn't look bad enough to be a concern at this point.

Thanks for the advice it has functioned flawlessly and is my new favorite carry piece. The g43 went back in the safe. Hope it’s just a little break in and parts will mate and it wont peen any further

The nickel plating flaking off, basically just cosmetic. Still wish Kahr would be more responsive to emails, sometimes they lack in customer service.
