Looking for the Holy Grail...Holster / Belt Combination

Looking for a "holy grail" holster / belt combination...

I'm looking for a comfortable AIWB (worn approx. 2 o'clock) holster for my recently purchased Kahr CM9. Something very comfortable that doesn't add much thickness to a very thin gun. Also something that keeps the gun tight against the body, minimizing printing. (Maybe using a claw and/or wedge?). Ride height adjustable? (I like a lower, nearer to the belt line ride).

Also...a belt that doesn't make my hipbones feel "pressed on" when the holster is inserted. (It seems that when a gun and holster is inserted under a belt in the front (appendix), the sides of the belt just pinch that much tighter. Do any belts adjust to accommodate for this? (I currently have a Koreessentials leather gunbelt).

I know in advance that I may be asking for the impossible...but it never hurts to ask.

I use a Wilderness 5 stitch belt. Leather was always too stiff, too heavy and they seem to take a shape if you snug them up. Your sol if you lose or gain weight, and at the cost, too expensive to keep replacing. I originally purchased a High Noon leather holster(centerfold) for IWB carry for my MK9, but found that it works very well in the AIWB position. Comfy in the car, and worked well with dress clothes. Very minimal holster. I like that it's also tuckable. Wore this combo to many functions and no notice's. The Wilderness belt is half the cost of a leather belt. The holster is half the cost of a good leather holster. I don't carry in this way often, but when I do, it's been the most comfortable way I've found so far, without having a drawer full of holsters. Just my 2 centavos...……………………………………………….

I sometimes carry a Glock 43, which is very similar in dimensions to your Kahr. I was wearing an iwb kydex holster, but did not like the additional thickness the holster added, plus I added a TLR6. So, I now have a slide clip on it, as well as a trigger guard cover (fits over the light, and covers the trigger). For me, it rides too low to the belt line, but it sounds like thats what you are after. If you want it to ride that low, you may want to check out either a Clip Draw or a Techna Slide clip. Not sure, but may fit your bill. Very “minimalist”. Hope this helps in some way! : )

Have you seen the Kore tactical nylon gunbelt?

Kore says it's twice as stiff as their leather gunbelt, and it's AT LEAST that. You can leave the belt loose, and the gun/holster combo stays put. Surprisingly comfortable.

I'm not a big fan of AIWB, but I got a Kusiak Minimalist for my P365. Very similar in size to the CM9.

First AIWB holster I've ever tried that was actually very comfortable for me. It's leather, but very thin and hard - almost like kydex. Rides very low, but not adjustable. No claw, wedge, or anything but the bare minimum. You know something's there, but it's so smooth it doesn't bother me. At $39 for a quality handmade leather holster, it's a steal...

Well, I could, and will, tell you what I use, but there are so many individual variables and preferences.... Two absolutes....a good, sturdy, comfortable belt and a quality holster.

For me...daily wear belts (dress and casuall) are various 1-1/2 inch leather gun belts. Kahr holsters are Mitch Rosen for IWB and Del Fatti for OWB.
