Default Stainless Recoil Spring Guide Rod for CT380

I'm not finding anything available for a "stainless" guide rod for the CT380 -- only for the P or CW models.

    Anybody know anybody making one?

I haven’t found one yet. I emailed Alfonse at Lakeline and he was going to look into it.

I had looked there, but I hadn't asked there -- I'll send him an email too!

I just emailed Lakeline today, and Al responded -- also today -- and he said the same thing.

Just curious, mainly because I like making things. But I really don't like working with stainless. But if I was to make one, what benefit would be gained by replacing the factory guide rod?

    Not much, I'm afraid...

A miniscule weight gain -- maybe... -- and it'd be shiny silver instead of blued, but I always add checkering to the ends of mine...
And that does up the COOL factor.
