I was at Academy Sporting Goods tonight, and they had a stainless Ruger Bearcat shopkeeper. It looks like the “almost twin” younger sibling to your new addition, Armybrat!

Our local Academy stores only keep a handful of wheelguns in stock - mostly Heritage, Taurus, and occasionally a S&W J frame.

What was your store asking for that Bearcat?

It was the Academy in Tyler, TX. I believe it was $599. May have been $499. Nice gun, but REALLY? Every time I see them and question the price, the little birdie on my shoulder says, “Yep. And, all of your friends say the same thing about the T9 you want, right? They haven’t held a T9, nor have they shot one. They have no idea.” I think the same may apply to the Ruger stainless Bearcat.

    Ooh...

    But, now I have questions...
    1. What is it?
    2. Caliber?
    3. All the other important stuff.
    4. Justification (that I’ll present to SWMBO) for needing one.

It it looks like something I “need”.

    😉
