Default Hello Evreyone from the PNW

    Hello All!
Joined up a few days ago and am looking forward to being a member of the forum. Will be picking up my first Kahr this week. Haven't really looked at Kahrs before, but really got interested once I started doing some research and read about the slimness and revolver-like trigger pulls. Am a fan of double action revolvers so am hoping to enjoy the Kahr trigger. Also, am getting older and slimmer inside the waistband sounded really good! Cheers!

    Welcome buffalo375.

Sounds like you're gonna enjoy the Kahr trigger like so many of us here do.

Kahrs are a pretty simple design - easy to maintain and work on. Their longevity is impressive, and they just get smoother the more rounds you put through them.

Have you decided on any model in particular?

    Hi Ed,
Thank you for the welcome! I picked up a CW9 yesterday, and am expecting a p40 by weeks end. Haven't had an opportunity to shoot it yet, but do really like the trigger from dry-firing it a few times. It feels really good in the hand and I'm very happy with it thus far. I didn't search the forum too much, but do you know if Kahr will install night sights if a slide were sent to them. The P40 that's on the way is without them. Very much looking forward to being a Kahr owner and being part of the forum. Thanks again for the welcome!

Last time I checked, Kahr charged $40 to install night sights.

Give 'em a call - they're friendly and very nice to deal with.

Thank you for the welcome! The web handle comes from being involved with both bison and .375H&H. Early on, used to utilize the latter to put down the former until I found it was way too much. Kept the handle due to me being too lazy to change it. Cheers!
