Default A build for a friend in Washington State

A while ago I set out on a project for a friend that I made on youtube . And he did a video on his Star Sizer and said he wished he had a bullet feeder for it. That in hand I contacted him and told him for the cost of materials I’d make him one. He is a great guy and a Bullseye shooter and knows guns, so anyway he wanted to feed 170 SWC match grade bullets and that’s when the challenge really started because of the shoulder on that bullet style. After making the main components I soon found out that the 170's were a different bear and very hard to be a reliable because of the shoulder on them to feed for the machine, I bet I spent a month trying different things till I realized I need to design some custom parts to make this work. A lot of days loading bullets in the machine and watching to see where the problems were and redesigning parts. The motor sounds a little weak in his video but it went thru a hard workout during the build so he’s ordering a new one but that’s only $25. I was really glad to help a friend and fellow shooter and he’s from your neck of the woods Bawanna up state Washington. So here’s his video and a follow up video, and sometimes it feels dame good to help a friend!

    Here's his web site https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCb6...uBDD1-T1ErncYQ

And the follow up video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NtSWuiUF8Io

That’s awesome Harry. Another fine project completed.
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Did you or your folks own a farm? REAL farmers always were figuring out ways to solve a problem.

I grew up on a farm and I'm still trying to figure myself out. I sure ain't got the smarts and ingenuity that Harrylee has got.

I think he might be related to John Moses Browning.

No doubt Harrylee is one smart cookie, but NOBODY creates the magic you do when working with wood.

I think people can only fit so much genius into their noggins. Yours is just devoted to grips and stocks.

    Don't sell yourself short.

    Well thanks for that.

Iffen I was fixing to sell myself how much you reckon I should ask. I told the missus I was pondering becoming a gigilo for some extra gun money.
She just laughed and said good luck with that????

Guess I better hit the kitchen floor in a fetal position, suck my thumb and ponder this some.

Now no one can replace Bawanna for his woodworking and he is a master for sure and I have never made a set of grips. But I did do a stock for a 10/22 once, it’s some where here on Kahrtalk just can’t find it but found some pictures. And Joe your still number one with your skill you make some beautiful grips wish I had your talent
