A while ago I set out on a project for a friend that I made on youtube . And he did a video on his Star Sizer and said he wished he had a bullet feeder for it. That in hand I contacted him and told him for the cost of materials I’d make him one. He is a great guy and a Bullseye shooter and knows guns, so anyway he wanted to feed 170 SWC match grade bullets and that’s when the challenge really started because of the shoulder on that bullet style. After making the main components I soon found out that the 170's were a different bear and very hard to be a reliable because of the shoulder on them to feed for the machine, I bet I spent a month trying different things till I realized I need to design some custom parts to make this work. A lot of days loading bullets in the machine and watching to see where the problems were and redesigning parts. The motor sounds a little weak in his video but it went thru a hard workout during the build so he’s ordering a new one but that’s only $25. I was really glad to help a friend and fellow shooter and he’s from your neck of the woods Bawanna up state Washington. So here’s his video and a follow up video, and sometimes it feels dame good to help a friend!
