So... any leads on a pancake holster? Many of the vendors I usually do business with, do not list the Speed Six on their gun list.

I'm leaning towards adding a Tyler T-grip to the factory stocks.

While not a pancake holster, I carry mine IWB in a Bianchi 100 Professional made for a 3" S&W K frame. My Security Six is also in a K frame holster. You might consider searching with that in mind.

On the other hand, Simply Rugged holsters makes pancake holsters for the Speed Six: https://www.simplyrugged.com/gun-model-chart.cfm

Well went to a LGS that I do a bit of business with. The let me try a few off the shelf holsters. I ended up with a L frame pancake from Tauga. It is a tad loose, but the K frame holsters were extra tight. Plus, it's ambidextrous, so I can follow the Colonel's advice about Sunday wear one way, and the other hand for the rest of the week. :-)

Sheesh, I'm near weeping here, nobody, I mean nobody has ever took my advice before. Not my wife, not my kids, I mean nobody.

Nice find! I bought a close out Speed Six years ago when the GP100 came out and foolishly sold it. I've had a 3 inch GP100 but it's just not the same.

You’re ahead of me, then. My wife and kids all know better than I do. I’m just a stupid man not worth listening to.

I adore my 3” GP100, by the way.

You simply can't go wrong with a Ruger wheelgun. I recently added another SP-101. It is the black Talo edition and it was just too tempting to pass up. My 3" GP100 is an alltime favorite.

    Update:
I found new old stock Ruger rubber grips for the Speed Six, and ordered a pancake form these folks: http://www.tuckerandbyrd.com/proddet...prod=rev-pan-1

They don't list the speed six, but I called them and they said no worries. Ordered one in Black Cherry with with thread. I'll post a photo on a month or so when it comes in.
