MagGuts site still has the PM kits listed as "This product is coming soon!".

Default SHOT Show approaches-----any leaks regarding new Kahrs?

Kahr Arms Nation FB group had a booth tour. They showed the PM9 Covert. P9 frame/PM9 slide, so opposite of the old Coverts. 7+1 capacity but MagGuts evens that up for PM9 owners. The selling point is a longer grip for better purchase and a short slide to aid concealment. I usually say the grip is the hardest part of the pistol to conceal, so shorter is better. But with AIWB carry becoming so popular, that gets flipped. With a proper claw holster, the grip is tucked into the body, leaving the slide length as more important for comfort.

That's what the G43X is for.

Seems like a market which needs to be catered to. Smart business. I'd prefer the old Covert. One day I'll buy a CW9 and cut the grip down.

    Will a P9 slide fit on a CM9 frame?
I like the new covert as I carry IWB at 1:30 but I get the same thing with a CM9 and Lakeline plus 1 extension. The grip is actually a little shorter than my P9 but because I’m a small person it’s a full 3-finger grip for me.

In addition to the new Kahr Covert (S9 frame, PM9 slide), there will be a new K9 25th Anniversary model. It has custom engraving, special grips, and a tungsten Cerakote finish. Here is a pic:

That's a good looking gun right there.

Personally, I don't care for the looks at all, and metal grips are not my thing. Too bad that they are starting to look like everyone else's firearms, which is a shame.

Or is it that everyone elses firearms are looking like theirs?

I've no experience with metal grips to be honest, so the jury remains in deliberation on that but I know a guy that knows a guy that can fix that if it's not appealing.
They look good to me and I never would have guessed with 3 chances that they were aluminum. I would have went Tupperware on the first two guess's.
That would have been a wasted guess huh? Boy I can be dumb some days, ok ok most days.

I have a CZ with factory aluminum grips, they work and look great. I have been tempted to try them on a carry 1911, but like the factory ones too much.
