    Default Shotshells and the CW45

Tried some CCI shotshells in my CW45: they chamber without issue and fully cycle the action when fired

    Regards,
    Greg

Hmmmm.... interesting. What can I do with that? I'm going to have to get some shot shells now. I'm thinking snakes, rodents, ...

    Thanks Greg
The only thing better than having all the guns and ammo you'd ever need would be being able to shoot it all off the back porch.

Wow! That's very surprising. I never dreamed they would feed OR cycle.

That be right handy in your neck of the woods with snakes and such.

    Default Shotshells and the CW45

I didn't know such things existed as 45Auto shotshells. Intriguing. [Spock eyebrow lift]

Thanks for posting that Greg. I still have a couple of "10 packs" of .45 acp CCI shot shells from several years ago when both my son and I tried them in our 1911's. No go with our 1911's, but I figured there was probably a handgun chambered for .45 acp out there somewhere with a weak enough mainspring to cycle them.

Nice video, well done. I used to shoot snakes with both 22 shot shells and 38 shot shells. 22's wouldn't cycle an automatic. I only shot the 38's from a revolver so had no problem there. I bought some 9mm but haven't tried them yet

+1 . . . In addition to expressing my appreciation, now I will have to look for some CCI shot shells in "fotay" to try in my PM40.

    Thanks, Greg!

I tried them in my Kimber Stainless Compact, 4" barrel with 22# main spring, and my son was using a Kimber 5 inch with (I think) 18# spring. We also tried the 9mm shells in some older Star BM pistols ... some would cycle, some not.

I carry CCI shot shells in my .357 "field gun" every day during snake season (which is all but December, January and February around here)
