Default Kahr CT9 failure to feed after 300 rounds

    Hello Group!

Called Kahr they suggested trying different ammo, I have,

The issue recoil spring seems weak

I was using Aguila ammo previously than winchester whte box.

It seems like every every 10 rounds or so, I have to tap the back of the slide, to get the slide to return to closed position

It seems like the chamber is a bit undersized?

The issue spring seems weak, Compared to my older kahr P-9

    Any after market springs available?

    Thx

    Paul

It's very possible the extractor tension is too much, Kahrs are notorious for that!

How many rounds have you shot through it so far?

Yes, it should be broken in by now. Something is not right. I doubt it’s the recoil spring.

Could be long ammo or short chamber, or peening which we don't hear about much lately and those were usually 40's.

You've tried different ammo so the long cartridge theory probably doesn't fly or at least flies poorly.
