does the CM9 have a mag safety?

got one used a week ago, $200, dryfired it a bit, but when I went to the range, it would not pop a cap, wouldn't dryfire either. Trigger goes all the way to the rear but the striker is not released. After I get it fixed, it's going to belong to somebody else and I"m going to either a Sig P938 or a Kimber Micro9 for front pants pocket carry. I"ve got a million, literally, draws and dry snaps, 1/4 million live rds thru cocked and locked SA autos. I'll extend that ridiculously short thumb safety lever forward by about 3/4", tho.

I have the same problem with a PM40. After messing with it for awhile I got it working with a mag in or the side plate off but not without a mag. I finally gave up and sent it to Kahr.

None of my Kahrs have a thumb safety.
