Corbon quit making the best 9mm defensive ammo
their 100 gr, 1500 fps (5" barrel) 500 ft lb, very managable recoil PowRBall. I emailed them to ask why, got no answer. That stuff worked great in all my testing. Since they were getting 70c a round for it, you'd think somebody would have the brains/money to license it from them and make it again.

What info do you having on it being dropped? They still have it listed in their store (out of stock, backorder OK): https://shopcorbon.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=9_36&product_id=213&mfp=3-caliber

For those that aren’t aware, Corbon recently moved to Ohio. I’d imagine it will probably take some time to get running up to full capacity.

Pwr'Ball is all I carry in the CW380. Never looked into using the Corbon 9mm, always load HST 124 gr in my CM9.
-
I hadnt thought of that. If they still offer the 380 powrball, I can just pull the bullets and handload them into 9mm cases. I'll check

nope, and it was a 70 gr bullet, likely to fragment when driven to 1600+ fps, as could be done with the 9mm. I used to pull 380 silvertip 85 gr jhp's from 380's and reload them to 1650" in a P35.

crud. I'll have to epoxy my own plastic balls into the noses of 90 gr speer jhp's. in speer brass. What headstamp is on your 380 cases as far as the maker of the brass?

I use something similar, Federal GuardDog. Lots of YouTube videos. Works great for me.
