    Default Walther Creed

Anyone tried one? The trigger appears to be quite similar to a Kahr’s, but in a full-size double stack. I’m intrigued.

I have handled the Creed at a gun show and was encouraged then to dry fire it a few times, but have no range time with one. It had a decent enough trigger pull (Kahr's is better) and could be bought at great price point, but it just didn't fit MY hand in a pleasing manner. I was surprised that it was larger/bulkier than I was expecting.
I have an acquittances at work (female) who bought one and she "Love, Love, LOVES" hers, but I'll note here that the Creed is the only handgun she owns.

    Your mileage may vary...
I was once asked if I was "a paranoid for carrying my Kahr".
    "Nope" I said, "just prepared".
" prepared for what" he asked?
    "more stuff than you are"

I've been intrigued by these as well. Every Walther I have owned has been as solid as a bank vault. My only knock is that they tend to be a bit heavier than the competition, but that is probably why they are so darned rock-solid.

Visited our local Walther dealer and didn't see a Creed in the case. The salesman had not even heard of it. "Is it new?" he asked. "Sometimes it takes a while for us to get new models in." Well, it's been out for two years now, so that answer is LAME.

I would recommend handling one before you buy it, to be sure the ergonomics work for you. I Love Walther firearms, in fact I was shooting a steel challenge league with my old P22 about an hour ago. The Creed was not right for me, but if other guns in their line fit me better, I'd buy one without a second thought. Excellent products.
