Hello folks. I joined explicitly for the Desert Eagle related discussions. I own a Desert Eagle but it had some missing parts and has been collecting dust and rust for more than a decade now. I invented a critical handgun component back in 2003 but have been sitting on it for all this time due to lack of funds to patent it. But i may be able to finally patent it in the somewhat near future and; having shared the secret with my dad, he pointed out that it's important i be able to demonstrate it works on multiple platforms. I chose my Beretta 92 and Desert Eagle as the platforms to demonstrate. So i got the gun out and; while searching for necessary replacement parts, i discovered that the Desert Eagle has gotten quite a bit of new updates. So now i am interested on the side in upgrading the tired old gun into something more contemporary and getting up to speed on what's been going on for the last decade in the Desert Eagle world. That's about it.
