    Default E Series

I have a Kahr E series 9mm and cannot for the life of me find any information on the internet, Kahr sight, youtube and now Kahr Talk. Can anyone give me any information or where I can find information?

A quick search here didn't give me much info to offer. I know they were a very early Kahr offering preceeding the the K and MK models. I don't recall dates. I know they are long since discontinued but still lots out there.

Very similar to the K's with some minor differences. I think the trigger bar spring is one, it's shaped a little different.

I believe the E series came at the change over to all stainless K9s. Perhaps the purpose to use up leftover carbon steel parts. E Kahrs were a mix carbon and stainless, old style or new style frames.
Mostly black finishes if I recall. Not too many out there it seems. Should be a fine pistol

Oh thank you. So they were discontinued not because of a defect. I have one and it is a really good pistol! Do you know how many were made or how I can find out?

    My guesses:
Produced from 1997? until at least 2002
    Listed as model # KE9090 in 1997

This pistol was listed on an auction site as being made in 1997

Looking at this photo of that gun, I'd say it will have, as Bawanna says, a differently shaped trigger bar spring (and trigger bar).

In 2000, the model # was E9093 and this pistol was dDuo-tone:

    In 2002, the model # was E9094:

    A spec sheet from 2002:

    Interesting!
I was completely unaware of this early model.
