    Default M&P15-22 Consumer Safety Alert

    https://www.smith-wesson.com/mp15-22...r-safety-alert

There's a link to get a free inspection gauge towards the bottom of the page. Mine is on the way

    Edit:
    Here's the gauge link: https://store.smith-wesson.com/m-p-1...spection-gauge

I've about a gazillion rounds through mine so I'm not too concerned, but why not check it and get a free tool to boot.

I have one and did the link that said mine might be one of the ones. I then talked to Smith, and they said it does not mean that all in that time period had a issue. Regardless, I received the gauge and it fit perfectly. Just beware that the recall is handled by a third party that does not know squat about the product. They even told me that if I had a recall product, they would have to Mail, Not email the shipping label and it would take 10 days. I then called Smith and they basically said BS, if I have a recalled product they would E-mail me a label right now.
Good Luck. if you do not want to wait for a guage, Smith will go ahead and email the label. They said it would be a quick return back.
