    Default Recluse holster for PM40

This is my first post outside of the New Members forum.

I just purchased a PM40 and need a pocket holster for it.

    Considering a Recluse.

Anyone have a Holster from them and have comments on it?

Or perhaps other pocket holsters that you use?

I guess no one uses Recluse holsters.

So what do you use for pocket carry of a PM40?

I use Recluse OS holsters to pocket carry both my P380 and my CM9 which is very close to the same size as a PM40.

Note that the Recluse OS and TS holsters are very different. I like the OS design, but understand that some people want a traditional two-sided holster.

The "outside panel" of the OS for my CM9 measures about 6" by 4-3/8". Weight is about 2.75 ounces for my version which is rectangular. The current models appear to be more "rounded off" and might be a little lighter. My Recluse OS holsters are made from pretty thick leather.

Kydex holster. Alabama holster (long wait) or equivalent.
"Push off" with thumb makes for smoothest draw.

Speaking of Kydex poicket holsters, is Alabama the best? What about Vedder, or other brands?

Depending on how large your pockets are...………….Remora or Sticky Holsters can work with larger pockets.

Do not know if Alabama has the best Kydex pocket holsters or not. If they are more expensive, or if the wait is too long, I see no problem trying another brand.
I have found the "thumb push -off tab" does not rub my leg. The push-off tab makes for a much smoother draw. Smooth is fast, fast is smooth. Does take a little practice however.
I have also used the DeSantis, Remora, and a no name rough-out leather, pocket holsters. Perfectly fine if you do not want to use a push off tab.
    Kahr CM9 & Beretta Pico.
