Default Cw9 barrel question

Im new to the forum so I'm not sure if this is where i should post this. But i have a cw9 and while cleaning it i noticed some wear marks on the barrel. It looks like where the barrel contacts the slide on recoil. I'm not sure if the pictures uploaded but if they did can someone tell me if this wear is normal or am I looking at a new barrel soon?

Hi Jake - Welcome to the forum. Ya gotta have 30 posts before you can upload an image directly to this forum.

You can post images anytime if you use a third party image hosting site.

I used to use Photobucket before they got greedy.

If it's just a shiny spot on your barrel, no problem.

If actual metal is moved, it may be peening, and could be a problem.

Thanks for the reply. I've contacted kahr about it and sent them some pictures of it. Hopefully its not a problem.

I’m guessing the scoring is normal since my cw9 has similar markings that started appearing after maybe 100 rounds. If you’re not having failure to feed issues you’re ahead of the game in my opinion. Keep the barrel lubed after cleaning.
