    Default Charter Arms “Professional”

There was some press buzz about this recently, but it’s not on Charter’s website or anywhere else that I’ve found. It’s a 7-round .32H&R Magnum revolver with a 3” barrel, and even though the ammo is 64 to 80 cents a round, I kinda want one! Anyone heard of this? Or is it vaporware?

I have not heard that one, but Charter's web site is never, never up to date. I like the folks, they are very accessible on the phone and somewhat thru email, but the web page doesn't even list the .41mag I now own... at least the last time I checked.

If they do a 3in .32 H&R mag, I'll have to pick one up too. That, or maybe one in say, .327 Federal??

I'm still hunting an old six shot .32 Undercoverett for a fair price. The Charter arms factory refinishing program is a great deal if you like the gun you've found.

    Peace
I was once asked if I was "a paranoid for carrying my Kahr".
    "Nope" I said, "just prepared".
" prepared for what" he asked?
    "more stuff than you are"

I went to Bud's and was surprised at some of the models, like some with 6" barrels, not on Charter's website. A couple years ago I was interested in their .22 Pathfinder, and the online reports said there was an 8-round model. But there was no 8-round model, only 6-round. I emailed Charter and they said there was no 8-round model. So how did people review them? Dunno.

I've had a hankering for another Bulldog Pug last few years. Had one many moons ago and it was a great little gun. That was back in the days when they were kind of hit and miss, like Taurus. I must have got a good one, no issues and a fine trigger.

    Cool Bulldog 44 Special

I've wanted a Bulldog 44 Special for some time.
But 44 Special ammo is just crazy expensive

Yep, saw a 6" 9mm revolver in a gun store in another state, so I went to the Charter website...nope, no such gun.
    Searched Gunbroker and found plenty.
Emailed from the Charter site and got a response from the "president" that they do in fact make/sell a 6" barreled revolver in 9mm.
    haven't bought one yet though
I apologize if my post contains the same or similar information as someone who has posted before me.

Charter seriously needs to work on their marketing department.

I found it on their website: https://charterfirearms.com/collecti...ts/model-63270

What I have not found is .32 H&R Magnum in local stores. The expensive LGS probably has some, but I never buy ammo there.

I buy almost all of my ammo on line. One of my goto places has carry ammo:

Darn, I like the looks of that. Still, I'd probably swap out the grips for something a little shorter.
I also agree with the video comment: "I would have preferred it chambered in .327 Federal Magnum, for the added flexibility to use both .32 H&R Magnum and .327 Federal Magnum loads". Further, I think one could amend that comment to read "added flexibility and availability".

I've an early 3" Undercover that has served me well as an occasional carry/hiking gun. I'd like to check out a "Professional" in person.

No trouble finding loads for this one

    Regards,
    Greg
